2012 was the year of the Mexican menu for me. I’d been toying with the idea for some time. And while I’d often bucked the turkey convention over the years, I’d never picked a particular theme that was so far away from traditional Thanksgiving food. That said, this is also one of the most ambitious menus I’ve ever taken on. It required lots of advanced planning, lots of magical kitchen elves, and it was also one of the best meals I’ve made. So here it is. Pick some pieces. Don’t feel like it’s all or nothing. These are some absolutely amazing dishes, some of which came to be part of the DLK repertoire.
